Holy Hearts School, Kabir Nagar organised a special assembly by the Nirbhaya Club with the theme “Raksha Bandhan – A Promise of Safety, Respect and Responsibility.” The assembly beautifully connected the traditional values of Raksha Bandhan with the important message of creating a safe, respectful and supportive environment for everyone.
The programme highlighted that the true essence of Raksha Bandhan goes beyond the traditional bond between brothers and sisters. The sacred thread of Rakhi symbolises a commitment towards care, protection, respect and responsibility. Through meaningful presentations, students were sensitised to the importance of respecting one another and standing up for the safety and dignity of others.
The assembly also emphasised that safety is a shared responsibility. Students were encouraged to be aware, responsible and supportive members of society and to speak up whenever they witness something inappropriate or unsafe.
The Nirbhaya Club’s initiative successfully conveyed the message that “Raksha” is not merely a promise made on Raksha Bandhan, but a value that should guide our actions every day. The assembly concluded with a collective pledge to promote kindness, respect, awareness and safety within the school and the community.
The programme was an inspiring blend of tradition, awareness and social responsibility, leaving students with the meaningful message that true protection begins with respect and responsible action.
